One of the items making The Great Trek was this cedar sign, which remained in the concourse for years before finding its final “resting place” as a bench-top. Another Great Trek for Douglas College will take place this month, as almost 200 full- and part-time employees make the big move out to the new David Lam Campus in Coquitlam. For a list of who’s going where, see page 4. both campuses will have two numbers with one voice-mail box. Mail/Courier Services Couriers will provide daily delivery and pick-up services for all three campuses. Mail from the Post Office will be sorted and distributed through the New Westminster Campus. Mail at the David Lam Campus will be sorted and placed in assigned boxes at the Bookstore—there will be no mail delivery to individual campus areas. Cafeteria ICL cafeteria services are scheduled to begin August 26. Parking Passes Douglas College parking passes can be used at both campuses. A brochure and application form will be available with employee orientation packages. NOTE: If you plan to use your parking pass at both New Westminster and David Lam Campuses, you must get a new card through Facilities Services. ] Quote of the Month: "The human race is faced with a cruel choice: work or daytime television." - Unknown
