This workshop will provide an opportunity for aspiring playwrights to develop
their craft under the guidance of a professional playwright. The instructor .
,will be New Westminster playwright Sharon Pollock. iS <nboe

 

THE INSTRUCTOR

Sharon Pollock has been writing plays for a number of years

and several of her works have been produced in theatres 2 eh
across Canada. "Walsh" was staged by Theatre Calgary, the
"Second Stage" at Stratford and by Douglas College. The Van-

couver Playhouse commissioned her to write AND OUT GOES YOU?

for their 1974-75 season, and a production of her latest work,

"The Komagata Maru incident", will open in March at the Play- ie
house "Second Stage".° She has also been commissioned to ee
write a new play for Douglas College which will be staged in = ~. “,
