More wrestling MIKE QuonG (DaviIpD LAM) fter Raw last week, this A= Wrestlemania is definitely shaping up to be a multi-participant match show. For instance, the Intercontinental Title will be contested in a fatal fourway with Val Venis defending against Ken Shamrock, Billy Gunn and Goldust. My pick for this one is Goldust. His charac- ter is in the rebuilding process and a second reign with the Intercontinental Title will defi- nitely put the gold back in Goldust. If not Goldust, then I would have to go with Billy Gunn. This could be where his singles career takes off and nabbing a title of that calibre will surely help get him over as a singles competitor. The other multi-participant match at Wrestlemania is a triple threat match for the . Hardcore Title with Hardcore Holly defending against Al Snow and Road Dog Jesse James. Holly really deserves this title if you ask me. The reason for this is because after jobbing through the lame Sparky Plugg gimmick and the revived Midnight Express, the man has shown us that he has paid his dues and is ready to step up his game. Don’t expect to see a title change here. If one occurs, it could go either way. Al Snow could really use a belt to help revive his career and Jesse James is just lost without a title. Although it still gets a good reception from the fans, his interview shoot is meaningless if he doesn’t have a title. As for the Tag Team Title match, I think the mystery team will defeat Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart. This is where a new angle will take place. The new Tag Team Champions will be two guys who will start argu- ing over who the captain of the team is, among other things. This will set up a rare occurrence of tag team part- ners facing each other at an upcoming pay per view. If you want my prediction on who the team will be, I say it will be Steven Regal & D-Lo Brown. This is where the other things I mentioned earlier come into play. Regal might also feud with D-Lo because of his claim- ing he was from Europe during his two European Title reigns. Don't expect to see Sable defend the Women’s Title against Luna at Wrestlemania. One reason only, Luna was fired by the WWF. If there’s going to be a Women’s Title match, look for Sable to defend against her number one fan, Tori. I still think reviving the Women’s Title was a bad idea. There’s only four competitors in the division, and only one knows how to wrestle, Jacquiline. Sable is a one move wonder who doesn’t even know how to take a bump and Ivory and Tori aren't established in the WWF yet. me, Uae OS See aed ee Bie a Blond(ie) is back Blondie No Exit Beyond Music / BMG Volume: 4 s the title character in A« ‘80s hitmaker Blondie, Deborah Harry has been claimed as inspiration by No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani, Madonna and the mysteriously famous Courtney Love. After 17 years without an album, it was only a matter of time before someone resurrected this pop dinosaur. Paleontologists will agree, this comeback is not a good find. Harry has long owned the sexiest eyes in rock and roll. Unfortunately, her 53-year old pipes happen to be some of the worst in the business. It’s almost unanimous in the industry: No Exit is an excuse to train newcomers in the mar- keting department. Whether you cringe to the torturous rap duet with Coolio in the title track, or shudder to the awful attempt to be playful on ‘Boom Boom in the Zoom Zoom Room, you'll wish to the rock revival gods that this antiquity remained buried.
