The former Ministry of Recreation and Conservation has been absorbed by three other ministries. : The Ministry of Environment is now responsible for the Fish and Wild- life, and the Marine Resources Branches, which complement our Water Rights (licencing), Water Investigations, and Resource Analysis Branches. In addition, it also administers the Pollution and Pesticide Control Acts (Environmental Protection), the Surveys and Mapping Branch, the Environment and Land Use Committee Secretariat, and the Provincial Emergency Program. At the same time, Parks Branch and Outdoor Recreation have been transferred to the new Ministry of Lands, Parks, and Housing, while Community Recreation, Sports and Fitness, and Culture and Heritage have gone to the Ministry of Provincial Secretary and Government Services. »..-Barry Leach = Ore —
