Connie Hamre f -_ Volunteer Recognition Week in Canada April 17 - 23 Thank You For Caring ~ RE CENTRE FOR INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION A NEW SUMMER ESL CONTRACT WITH BUNRI JOHO COLLEGE Douglas College Centre for In- ternational Education is pleased to announce that Douglas Col- lege, together with three other community colleges in B.C., will have a new summer ESL program contract with Bunri Joho Junior College of Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The number of students in the program will be 120 to 150. Bunri Joho Junior College is a new co-ed college specializing in Business Administration. The four B.C. colleges will offer a four- weck special ESL program for Bunri’s first-year students and Bunri plans to make the summer ESL programs in B.C. an annual event for all of their students. Douglas College initiated con- tract negotiations with Bunri last summer and has been working as the co-ordinator of the Bunri Program on behalf of other com- munity colleges.
