“PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAYS

 

1980 College Wide Professional Development Days will be held Tuesday and
Wednesday, May 13 & 14. If you know of a major conflict with other College
activities please inform your discipline representative on College-Wide
Professional Development Committee.

SPRING SEMESTER GRADE SUBMISSION

Following is the schedule of grade card distribution, submission and
verification for the end of the Spring 1980 semester.

 

Date Detail

Aprat, i5+12 Grade cards and class lists distributed to Faculty

May 2 (noon) Grades due in for all courses without a final examination

May 9 (noon) Grades due in for all courses with a final examination
All grades must be in by this time

May 10/11 Grades processed and final grade lists prepared at S.F.U.

May 12 (noon) All final grade lists will be distributed to campus
Principals for verification

May 14 (9.00.a.m.) All verified final grade lists will be picked up from
campus Principals

- May 14/15 Data Mailers will be prepared at S.F.U.
(overnight)

May 15 (10:00 a.m.) All final grades mailed to students
May 15 (8.00 p.m.) Graduation - New Westminster Senior Secondary School

Notes:

1. You will note, given the change in the final complete withdrawal deadline
for students (now April 3, 1980) that grade card packs will be distributed
to faculty in the penultimate week of classes.

2. All grades must be in by noon of Friday, May 9. This is a critical
deadline in the light of Graduation checking and Graduation on Thursday
May 15. Would all faculty please take careful note of this.

 

3. Grade packs will be distributed from the office of the Principal of the
campus on which the course was taught.

4. Grades must be submitted by the deadlines ipdicated to the office of
the Principal of the campus on which the course was taught.

AT THE MOVIES

The movie, "Manhunt", which deals with interviewing, has been booked for
showing as follows: Monday, February 18 - 3:00 p.m., Newton Centre Board-
room and Tuesday, February 19 - 3:00 p.m., 140th Street, Room S203. Everyone
is welcome to attend.
