They want to start their own businesses. They want to go to university. They want to go into music or policing or accounting or to work in tourism. In some cases, they want classes to explore what they want to do. Douglas College has educated tens of thousands of graduates since we opened our doors in 1970. To celebrate, the College's 35th Anniversary Contest invited entrants to think about their educational dreams and answer the question: “where do you plan to go after Douglas College?” In all, over 1,100 entrants took the time to visit the Douglas College web site and email a submission. CONNECT Student Information Fair set for May 24 Quote of the Month Entrants included high school students, adult learners thinking about returning to school and current College students. The entries demonstrated students enthusiasm for their goals and the seriousness of the choices they must make. “Next fall, I will be attending Douglas College, where I plan to complete my Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology,” wrote a New Westminster Secondary School student. “I intend to become a Forensic Psychologist in the future. Psychology has always been an interest of mine but I am aware that as I get older my interests may change.
