Rona Murray is a native British Columbian who earns her popularity by helping others discover the world of writing On Thursday, February 7, Dr. Murray will be bringing her talents to Douglas College to give a noon hour reading of her poetry, prose and fiction. As part of the popular Noon at New West series of music, theatre and cultural events, Dr. Murray will share her experiences as an award winning author with all the residents of New Westminster and the surroun- ding area. In addition to her readings at the Douglas College campus, Murray will supplement her visit as Writer in Residence with readings eat the New Westminster Public Library on February 9 at 10:00 a.m. and with workshops throughout her stay at the College.
