Dying to be Thin VHS 14 mins.

Teenaged Beverly, who once weighed over 200 lbs.,
now weighs 90 lbs. Totally obsessed with food and dieting,
she is a victim of anorexia nervosa, the alarmingly common,
life-threatening disorder discussed in this film.

Girls Can! VHS 21 mins.

This film shows women working in non-traditional
occupations and interviews with them. Careers shown
include carpenter, air traffic controller, veterinarian,
computer programmer, marine biologist, pilot, woodworker.

Paul Kane Goes West 16 mm film 16 mins.

His canvases breathe the spirit and pride of the
Indian, the untouched wilderness that was his domain.
Travelling overland west to the Pacific in the mid-1800s,
Paul Kane painted the northwest, the great Indian tribes,
chiefs, ceremonies, war parties, buffalo hunts, rapids and
waterfalls before hydro power was even thought of. In
this film, his paintings are projected with lighting that
brings to life every glowing detail.
