5. Attached Regulations (i) (ii) Fund raising activities that use the College's name and are carried out by constituencies of Douglas College, or personnel employed by Douglas College, or students enrolled in Douglas College, shall be authorized by the appropriate department head or Dean after consultation with the Community Resource Development Officer. This regulation does not apply to groups having separate legal status, even though they may be associated with Douglas College. Where activities require the use of the Douglas College tax number, the following conditions shall apply: (a) Financial accounting of the activities shall be under the authority of the College Bursar. (b) Thirty-five percent of the net proceeds of such activities shall be assigned to the Douglas College Foundation as an undesignated contribution toward the College Endowment Fund.
