’ = DOUCLAS COLLEGE LIBRARY uF cE ARCHIN SIMON FRASER UNIVERSITY invites applications for the position of COORDINATOR, CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS Appointed on a two-thirds time basis by the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and Continuing Education, the Coordinator of Programs for Senior Citizens will be responsible for; - Determining needed programs and policies enabling Simon Fraser University to provide services that wil] complement those provided by other agencies. - Developing educational programs expressly for the needs of senior citizens Desired qualifications include: successful experience in planning and managing educational programs for adults; a graduate degree, preferably in an area related to the position's responsibilities; knowledge of the needs and special characteristics of older people. Preference wil] be given to a qualified older person. The appointment will be for one year only, with possibility of renewal, with salary for the two-thirds appointment dependent on qualifications. Duties will commence September 1, 1974, or shortly thereafter.
