Meeting, the Douglas College Faculty Association (DCFA) brought forward several concerns relating to the College’s budget development process. The December, 1996 special issue of Faculty Matters outlined several questions and recommendations at length; copies are available through local 5282 or 5283. On January 23, 1997 an open College forum was held, at which College President Lloyd Morin and Vice Presidents Peter Greenwood, Mia Gordon, Al Atkinson and John McKendry responded to concerns raised in Faculty Matters. The printed report was distributed to all faculty members and departments. Additional copies of the document are available through department heads or the President’s Office. Senior management encourages input from all members of the College community before the budget development document is presented to the College Board in February. ff 4
