ANNUAL CONFERENCE Heritage Society of British Columbia The Heritage Society of British Columbia is having its annual conference in North Vancouver between May 29 and June 1. We feel that this is our most exciting conference to date because of some of our added workshops and presentations. One of the presentations will be conducted by Dr. Hanna Kassis of the U.B.C. Religious Studies Department. Dr. Kassis is a leading authority on the Ramses II Exhibit which will have its own Pavillion at Expo 86. British Columbians will have a one in a lifetime opportunity to view this incredible collection for the duration of Expo. In the presentation, Dr. Kassis will examine the artifacts, art and architecture of Ramses II's time, and his achievements and accomplishments that made him such a great ruler. There will be some seats available for those who are not attending the conference itself. Our conference also includes seminars on: Heritage Home Restoration, B.C.'s Rail History, and a look at our Maritime History Through the Ages. Displays from member groups and B.C.'s heritage trust fund will also be present. Tickets are available for the conference or just the presentations.
