Douglas College Library now has a spec-
ial collection of books which deal with
various areas of educational and insti-
tutional development. Titles include:

The books are housed in a special sec—
tion at the McBride Site Library.

As well as the book collection there
are also files of materials on faculty
development and faculty evaluation col-
lected from other Canadian colleges.
Ask for these at the circulation desk.

Drop in soon and browse through the
collection. If your favorite resource
is missing, you might want to ask to
have it ordered and added to the col-
lection.

At 8:00 p.m., she will speak in the
Lecture Hall at Vancouver General
Hospital in relation to the medical
consequences of nuclear war.

HOST FAMILIES WANTED!

Douglas College is looking for accom
modation in the New Westminster area
for students from Quebec who will be
studying english at the College from
May 25 to July 2, 1982.

A per/day rate will be paid to english-
speaking families who can provide room

and board and a pleasant family envir-

onment.

NUCLEAR DISARMANENT DISCUSSION

A physician from the Soviet Union will
be in town Monday, May 10, to talk
about nuclear disarmament. She will
be speaking to two groups and both
talks will be open.

At 12 noon, Dr. Savelyeva will be
speaking to U.B.C. Educators for Dis-
armanent in the Buchanan room, 106, at
U.B.C

 

REMINDER FROM THE AUDIO VISUAL DEPT.

Just a reminder to faculty that they
submit their fall 1982 film booking
lists by June 1, 1982 if possible.

This will ensure that their requests
have priority over outside bookings.
