Re: REVIEW OF EDUCATIONAL POLICIES |

The Educational Policy and Planning Committee has been charged with the
task of reviewing existing educational policies currently in place and
satisfy themselves that the policies do, in fact, represent the original
intent and are appropriate for 1985. From this review recommendations
for revisions, if necessary, will be presented to the College Board.

At the December 11, 1985 meeting of EPPCO, the process for reviewing the
policies was deliberated. After much discussion it was agreed, and a
motion was passed to the effect that for the next several months, a notice
will be placed in each issue of the Mad Hatter specifying the policies
to be discussed at the next meeting of the Committee and inviting input
from the College at large.

The next meeting of the Committee is scheduled for February 12, 1986 at
which time the following policies will be reviewed:

E01.01.02 Douglas College Goals

E01.01.03 Special Program Units

E01.01.04 Types of Learning and Learning
Environments at Douglas College

If you have any comments to make regarding these policies, please forward
them to Phyllis Johnson by Monday, February 3, 1986 so that they may be
circulated to Committee members for their review prior to the meeting.

It is the Committee's desire to have as much input as possible to ensure
that the review is as thorough as possible.
