The Payroll Department (I to r): Dale Picketts, Sandra Hartney, Sharon Conboy, Betty Clarke.

When you think about it, the College’s
Payroll Department - where the
paycheques come from - would probably
be chosen by employees as their favorite
department. Payroll is responsible for
making sure that everyone gets paid on
time, and also deals with optional and
mandatory benefits or deductions.

The Payroll staff is always available to
answer questions, and invites you to just
stop by and meet the people behind your
paycheque.

Sharon Conboy, Payroll Supervisor

Sharon is responsible for the day-to-
day running of the office as well as the
payroll for all administrative staff. Part of
her duties include liaising with the
College community as well as outside
agencies. She can be reached at local

Betty Clarke, Payroll Clerk

(Auxiliary/Contract)

Betty is responsible for ensuring that
all on-call BCGEU employees, student
assistants and contract faculty receive
timely and accurate pay. Her local is
D377:

Sandra Hartney, Payroll Clerk
(Faculty)

Sandy’s primary responsibility isto
co-ordinate all aspects of payroll for full-
time and term faculty. This includes
salary, pension calculations and
responding to questions. She can be
reached at local 5376.

Dale Picketts, Payroll Clerk (Staff)

Dale is always available to help staff
with their time sheets or answer questions
relating to full-time and term BCGEU
employees. She is also responsible for all
non-collective agreement employees such
as Continuing Education instructors. Her
local is 5366. #f
