The question of the status of Certified Sessional Instructors vis-a-vis other (non-certified) Sessional Instructors in such a bumping process has come to the L.M.R.C. and it is our opinion that bumping should normally first take place among the non certified group, with the onus on the Administrator Responsible & the Convenor to have a justifiable educational or contractual reason if this is not to be the case. This process will ultimately be covered by policy statements and is consistent with the 'protection' presently being given Certified Sessional Instructors through the negotiating process. =-MOrle. =
