Casino & Bingo Nite

Casino and Bingo Night will be taking
place Friday, April 19 on the Concourse
with the Casino Equipment supplied by the
Great Northern Casino Company. Betting
will be with actual money. Since this is
the first time we have not used play money
the atmosphere should be more "Las Vegas"
in style. }

Complimentary tickets (please, one to a
customer) are available for staff and
faculty members - from the switchboard.
Regular priced tickets ($5.00) are avai la-
ble from Room 1606 between 1100 - 1900

a few hours on the bar or bingo).

All these teams are comprised of
approximately 120 athletes who would not
be able to combine school and athletics
without the support of our faculty, whose
understanding and consideration makes the
travelling and practice time which is
necessary for competition in Totem, a
reality.

A large vote of thanks, also, to the staff
and security who deal with all the athletic
events with such good-natured helpfulness
all year long. I+ couldn't be done without
you!

Athletics’

The Athletic Banquet will be held April 25
from 1800 - 2100 hours and will be catered
by ICL. Once again, volunteers to help at
the bar would be appreciated as the
athletes will have this night to receive
their awards and listen to their coaches
reflect on the "gold that got away".

 

Tickets are $9.50 and everyone is welcome.
Tickets must be purchased before April 23
and are available in Room 1338.

Guests may attend the banquet after 2100
hours with a ticket, which can be pur-
chased for only $2.00 (available only
from the athletes).

Every Douglas team finished in the medals
this year and | wish to commend the hard
work and dedication by the coaches and
athletes who achieved these fabulous
results. The teams are:
