An Anthropological View of Sickness and Health

About 4,000 North Americans will undergo surgery this year for ulcerative
colitis or Crohn's disease. By "disabling the imagination of patients",

medical science renders them helpless to change the toxic personal rela-
tionships that underline these mysterious disorders.

 

Be a Heart Saver

 

While becoming heart savers, four Douglas College students learn, from
Linda Skipworth, that Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation saves lives. November
17 to 24 is CPR week at Douglas College and as a result Douglas College

is offering Heart Saver sessions all week. Left to right are Robert
