LEGE -5- f RED DEER COLLEGE REQUIRES ARCHIVES 3 POSITIONS Chairperson - Liberal & Applied Arts Chairperson - Allied Health Coordinator of Nursing The Chairpersons, reporting to the Academic Dean, are responsible for management of 30 member Divisions. The Chairperson manages a $1,000,000 budget and gives leadership to planning, staffing, curriculum design, time- tabling and staff development. Qualifications include demonstrative skills, awareness of the Community College concept; appropriate post graduate education and teaching expertise. Programs in Liberal & Applied Arts include Liberal Arts, Education, Art, Drama and Music. Programs in Allied Health include Nursing, Social Services, Rehabilitation Services, Vocational Training for the Handicapped, Physical Education, Recreation, Early Childhood Development and Pharmacy Technician. Appointments by spring of 1981. Applications accepted until positions are filled. It is expected there will be internal applicants for these positions. Salary range: $33,628-$45,838. COORDINATOR OF NURSING The Coordinator, reporting to the Chairperson of Allied Health, is responsible for administration of the College's Nursing Program which enrols 145 students. Practicum experience is held at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. Qualifications: Minimum master's degree in Nursing, ex- perience as a Nurse Educator and Practitioner. Administrative experience desirable. Salary range: $25,000-$35,000.
