INSIDE DOUGLAS COLLEGE / JUNE 20, 1989 Policy Manual Update - Progress Report As you will recall, the last major update of the policy manual oc-: curred in November of 1985. Since then, there have been a number of changes - the addition of new policies, the revision of existing policies, and the withdrawal of others. This has come about, in part, as a result of the natural evolu- tion of the institution. As well, between November 1985 and the present date, there has been a thorough review of all existing policy. This review has also resulted in a number of the chan- ges. All changes have received the approval of the College Board. It seems timely to provide you with a status report, and to high- light the changes, so that everyone remains current. I will address the changes to the Policy Manual first.
