Douglas College P.O. Box 2503, New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Admissions Office - Telephone: 588 + 6404 May 21 ,1974 Members of the Staff Association Douglas College Fellow Staff Members, It is with a great deal of regret that I offer you my resignation, effective immediately,'as President of the Staff Association. In accepting this position I was overly optimistic in estimating the amount of time that would be required to fulfill my obligations. I have now reached the point where the overtime required for my job, the time demands of the Staff Association and those of my family are more than I can handle. | I would like to continue on the Bargaining Committee for this year, with your permission, because I don't want to leave that job half-finished. I will also continue to attend College Council meetings because I feel it is important that Staff be represented there. Further, I would enjoy writing a page in the Mad Hatter each week with reports on College Council meetings, Staff Association meetings and other information submitted by staff. I apologize for whatever inconvenience my resignation may cause, particularly to the members of the Executive. I have tried for several months to juggle my activities successfully but I feel that I am unable to give enough time to any of the things I am involved in to do any one of them well. I will try to make myself available for committee work in the Association as required. Yours truly, bi a ¢ 2k d oP Cc Céad - Eloise D. Lincicum EDL/bw
