ST ES ESTP SG f you’re a B.C. student, you could be your own boss this summer through the new Student Venture Capital Program of the B.C. Government. The program offers interest-free loans of up to $2,000 to students who wish to plan and operate their own small business. Loans will be interest-free from April 1, 1984 to the repayment deadline of October 1, 1984. Applicants must be returning to a high- school, college or university as full-time students in the fall of 1984. Businesses must be operated in B.C. and applicants must be eligible to work in Canada. Program applications are available from high school, college or university placement centres, Chamber of Commerce or Board of Trade Business Information Centres, Royal Bank branches, Canada Employment Centres for Students as well as offices of the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Industry and Small Business Development.
