DOUGLAS COLLEGE ARCHIVES WOT College Gift A handsome gold and black wall hanging of two Japanese cranes is unveiled by chairman of the Douglas College Board, Gerry Trerise, at a recent college meeting. The hanging, presented by Momoyama University (St. Andrews) in Osaka, Japan, was one of several gifts received by Douglas College following a recent study tour of Japan and Hong Kong by College president Bill Day and Dean of Academic Programs, Gordon Gilgan. In total, the pair met with representatives from 11 post-secondary institutions, and signed a formal document of participation in International Education programs with several Japanese colleges and universities. §§§§§
