The Sports Editor is responsible for compiling a finished section—roughly 5-7 original, quality
articles—whether through editing content from contributors or writing articles themselves. The successful
applicant will be required to work closely with the Sports Reporter on assigning work, coordinating
games/interviews, and providing feedback.

Must haves:

* Experience and familiarity with conducting interviews and sports-style article writing
* Strong writing and editing skills

+ Familiarity with the Canadian Press Style Guide, as well as CP Caps and Spelling

* Digital photography skills (equipment is provided)

* Acurrent or previous connection to the Douglas Athletics department is preferred

Pay: $450/month
