Z ésiticr Press January 23, 1996 From Dusk to Dawn No time for interviews by Darin Clisby Ah, Quentin. Don’t write another movie script in your life, stay off the screen and keep putting out excellent direction for our viewing pleasure. From Dusk to Dawn begins with a pair of criminals on the run. Two brothers, Seth (George Clooney) and Richard (Quentin Tarantino) are going for the border of Mexico. After some slight misadventure they make it across the border and land themselves at the Titty Twister. At the door is aman who will introduce you to so many types of ‘pussy’ it will make you sick. won’t tell you what it really is) and there we view the climax. The climax is a sudden burst of violence, coming to terms with God, and the acceptance of evil. Its all very jarring yet leaves no impression, impact or emotional charge. This is a B-movie, splatterhouse horror. It’s empty, unexciting, unfinished, silly, disappointing, deranged and falls flat. That’s all I want to say. Tarantino (finally) does have some character. Perhaps he could make it as an actor after all. Let me muse... George Clooney looks scared, doesn't he? Quentin Tarantino at his dramatic best... Attention Douglas Students!!!
