INSIDE DOUGLAS COLLEGE / July 9, 1991 Staff and faculty profiles Marketing Technician Bruce Livingstone LFV gee you see or hear an advertisement promoting Douglas College, chances are it was written, designed and placed by Bruce Livingstone. He works in the Public Information Office as the college’s marketing technician. Besides promotional advertising, he’s responsible for the college’s marketing strategies and “creating and maintaining a positive image of Douglas College in the community." “T like the wide variety of work,” says Livingstone, 25. “There are always new projects and you're never doing the same thing twice.” Before working at Douglas College, Livingstone was a student here, completing a marketing diploma. Being a former student gives him a unique perspective on his job. “Not so long ago I was the ‘target market’ of the Public Information Office.” He’s currently studying part-time towards a bachelor’s degree in communications and spends what's left of his spare time skiing, cycling and reading. Thank you The Department of Psychiatric Nursing would like to salute the cafeteria for the marvelous catering job they did during our Bevis Workshop on June 24, 25, 26. The service and personnel were great, the food was wonderfully prepared and presented, coffees and lunches were on time and we were all properly impressed. We will hire them again!
