Page 4 February 18, 1987 Other Press riefl The New Westminster branch of the Canadian Red Cross will be holding a donors clinic in the Douglas College ‘theater foyer on Feb. 19 from 10:00 - 4:00 pm. The Red Cross needs 4000 donations per day to ensure a steady supply of blood to Canadi- an hospitals, said _—_ spokesperson Lisa Rae Devries. Stressing that the complete procedure only takes 30 minutes, Devries recommends donors eat before giving blood and avoid alcohol, smoking and ex- cercise for several hours — after- ward, The theatre students of Douglas College will be presenting ‘quality entertainment” in the form of the- atre games. “Everybody is welcome,” said Kim Tough, of the improvisational theatre games scheduled for Thur- sdays at 12:30 pm. “It's based on the theatre sports that Back Alley Theatre is doing,” said Tough. “Anyone can join if in they want, or just sit back and watch the fun,” Tough said. “It's a forum for us and entertainment for everyone clse,” she added.
