Historic ground breaking ceremony for Thomas Haney Centre wo long-time Maple Ridge pioneers, Charlie Blishen and Bill Hampton, led a team of Belgian horses at a historic ground breaking ceremony July 21 for the new $27 million Thomas Haney Centre in Maple Ridge. Using a 100-year old plough, Blishen and Hampton turned the sod for the new centre.
