On April 17, the program opened its doors to the public for the BC Dental Association’s annual Community Dental Day. Seven volunteer dentists were joined by Dental Assisting students, allowing the dentists to assess students for potential jobs or practicum offers. Volunteers also included Douglas College instructors, and in total the dental team served almost 100 patients.
