PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Tre Association of Canadian Community Colleges promotes and facilitates professional

development in the college network through workshops across the country. This year, in
response to the needs of its members and a new campaign to increase services, the Interna-
tional Bureau is launching an ambitious program, addressing five major themes:

1. Intercultural Negotiations

2. The Project Management Cycle: Planning-Monitoring-Evaluation

3. International Development Opportunities for Colleges and Institutes
4. Cross-Cultural Communications and Exchange of Skills

5. The Training Cycle in Canada and Overseas.

The workshops will be held all over Canada in 1987/1988. However, the following
workshops will be available in British Columbia.

Theme 2 - Project Management Cycle: Planning-Monitoring-E valuation

To acquire the necessary tools to follow a development project through the complete management
cycle from early conceptualization to measurement of social and economic impacts.
A challenging program whatever your level of project experience.

Theme 3 - International Development Opportunities for Colleges and Institutes

Objective: To examine how college/institute administrators and staff may enhance
their own institution’s mission through international involvement.

THE JAPAN FOUNDATION

Tre Japan Foundation has announced the following eight programs for the fiscal year
