that people have learned of the Centte
and the service it offers in the ab-
sence of any previous promotional or
Marketing campaign.

The key to the success of the E.I.C.
lies in two major areas:

(1) the obvious needs and demands of
the general public for easy access
to information regarding the ed-
ucational opportunities that are
available; and

(2) the cooperative spirit among the
member institutions to work to-
gether to supply the information
to meet the needs and demands of
the public,

The Education Information Centre is
operated and governed by a Consortium,
or the member institutions, who in
turn appoint a representative to sit
on the Consortium's Board of Manage-
ment.

As the only Centre of this kind in
Canada, the Education Information
Centre provides an opportunity for the
public to receive unbiased educational
information at one central location.

the Resource Centre. Every institution
has received copies of our microcatal-
ogue which is available in your college
or institute library.

If you have difficulty using the micro-
catalogue, ask your college librarian
