INTENT: Basic reproduction of mater- ials in five paper colours and in two paper sizes. PRODUCTIVITY: Minimum of 10 (ten) copies per original. Requirement of less than 10 (ten) copies must be run on the Copy Centre equipment. TURN AROUND: It is the intent of the de- partment to provide the re- turn of duplicated materials within a 24 (twenty-four) hour hour period. The 24 (twenty- four) hour turn around is applicable to common run lengths i.e. 1x 50, 6 x 30. Long run lengths i.e. man- uals will take considerably longer to complete. Duplicating materials are pro- cessed on a first come, first served basis. Alterations to this process must have the Purchasing Manager's approval. PRINTING Request for printed materials REQUIREMENTS: shall be tendered, i.e. colour work other than black, bro- chures, and obviously the Col- lege Calendar. EQUIPMENT : The high speed duplicating equipment is now in place. Further information regarding the machine specifications are available in detail fram Terry Leonard. STAFFING: The initial intent of opera- tive hours for the Duplicating Centre shall be 0900 hours through 1600 hours, the actual close shall be 1630 hours as the high speed duplicator re- quires set-up and cleaning time provisions have been made in the initial shift program. The Copy Centre photocopier shall be avail- able from 0830 hours to 1900 hours. There shall be two personnel to process the duplicating materials. Any information required from the centre over and above that stated on the duplicating requisition should be directed to the Purchasing Manager. These requis- itions are currently avail- able from the Duplicating Centre or the Purchasing De- partment. Fire Alarm System As has become apparent to all during the last few weeks on the new Royal Avenue site, fire alarm bells ring with unpre- dictable regularity. This is due entirely’ to the fact that the work force is still completing deficiencies on the systems which interconnect to form the alarm cam: ponent. The new structure is entirely and completely sprinklered. Any drop in pressure in this system triggers the fire alarm bells and, unfortunately same can- ponents of the system are being drained from time to time to correct minor leaks. Preliminary procedures have been set up with the Uniguard Security personnel. The instant the fire alarm bell sounds, the Security people contact the local fire
