TEAM DOUGLAS WINS; VAULTS INTO SECOND PLACF On Thursday, November 29, Team Douglas recorded its second win of the season, downing Trinity Western College by a score of 2-1. When regular goalies Peter Collins and John McKenzie were unable to plav, defenceman Don Nicks strapped on the pads and performed ably in the net, coming close to recording a shutout. Team Douu’as displayed some fine teamwork right from the operning faceoff and jumped into a 2-0 lead on unassisted goals by Ken Zakala and Ron Ames. As a result of its win, Team Douglas has moved into second place behind Columbia Bible Institute. This game was the last for the team until after Christmas when they will resume their quest for the league championship.
