The Douglas College Newsletter ll New Westminster Campus, David Lam Campus November 2005 IN Douglas College Professional Development Day back by popular demand The Third Douglas College Professional Development Day (PDD) featuring keynote speaker Thomas Berger had to be cancelled last year due to the labour situation at the College. But the day is being remounted in February 2006. Daytime classes are cancelled and department staffing is kept to a minimum so as many employees as possible can attend. The planning committee for PDD is hard at work rescheduling last year’s sessions where possible and arranging new speakers to augment the program. Please mark your calendars for Ethics and Education, February 8, 2006 at the New Westminster Campus. The planning committee is always seeking new ideas and welcomes your participation.
