INVITATION
STUDENT SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL

At the Oct. 10 meeting of the Management
Committee, a recommendation to establish

a Student Services Advisory Council was

approved. The objective of this council

is to advise the Dean of Student Services
on the needs of students for a comprehen-
sive range of support services and

co-curricular educational experiences, as

@:.. as to provide a forum for comment on

on-instructional college policies which
directly affect student life on campus.
The membership of the council is as follows:

faculty member at large

staff member at large

student per campus

representative from each student services
‘division

President of the college Student Government
Dean of Student .Services - chairman

If you are interested in student life on
campus and would like to become involved

in planning for more and better services

to students, then please consider volunteer-
ing for membership on the committee. I
would certainly be interested in discussing
this further with you. I can be reached

at N.W. Campus local 272. I plan to call
the first monthly meeting for mid-November
so volunteer now.

Council is now functioning, and is scheduled
to have its third meeting for the Fall

of approved Minutes are posted outside
the main reception area in the 100 building.
