ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY OF USERS' GROUP CHAIRMEN AND ADMINISTRATORS OF REFERENCE 1. All advice to the designers will be reviewed and approved by the appropriate Users' Group in the presence of, and with the active involvement of, the designated Administrator of Reference. All such - advice will be minuted by the Chairman of the Users' Group and Trans- mitted to the Project Manager, via the office of the New Westminster Campus Principal. In case of a conflict of opinion, a separate memorandum by the Administrator of Reference will be requested. Verbal advice and information will not be treated as valid. 2. All advice by a Users' Group will be supported or not supported by the designated Administrator of Reference. CONFLICT MANAGEMENT 1. Where a conflict occurs, it will be reviewed by the Campus Principal in consultation with the affected parties, and a decision made regarding the nature of the advice to the architect. The Principal will be accountable to the Steering Committee for the decision made, and in cases of conflict, the advice given and the decision made will be reviewed by the Steering Committee. INTERIOR DESIGN 1. The Interior Design Consultant, Sooz Klinkhamer, will be present at all formal meetings of Users' Groups, in order that current thinking can be translated as quickly as possible into tentative plans and estimates.
