Aptitude, interest and personality test results are integrated with the many sources of information about oneself, previous life experiences, values, life expec- tations and occupational and training requirements. Students will be intro- duced to the various kinds of information resources about occupations, edu- cational programs and training requirements. The above explorations are incorporated in a group experience (12-15 per group) where mutual sharing of information and experiences facilitates growth and the consideration of the many alternatives open to each individual. TIME REQUIREMENT Participants should be aware that additional time over and above the seven two-hour seminars will be required of them. Testing times need to be ar- ranged. Moreover, mapping one's personal journey requires time to reflect and ponder in order to face the issues involved concerning one's style of life and the many occupational alternatives. PROCEDURES Students have to be interviewed by a counsellor in charge of the program. For the Surrey class, they should see Steve Sharpe or Marilyn Smith, and for the New Westminster class, Andre Piquette or Linda Coyle (Educational Planner). A maximum of 15 students will be accepted in each class. AVAILABLE TIMES - FALL SEMESTER (October 29 - December 19) SURREY - Marilyn Smith and Steve Sharpe 2- 4 P.M. Monday 10 - 12 P.M.
