The Women's Studies Program at Simon Fraser University is seeking
a senior candidate to inaugurate its endowed chair beginning in either
September 1985 for one year or January 1986 for eight months, with
a possibility for an additional year. Applicants in all fields are
invited, particularly in law, social policy, anthropology/sociology,
visual arts, engineering, education and comparative literature.
Applicants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants, and must
have appropriate academic or professional qualifications. Responsibilities
will include teaching, public lectures and community outreach.
Salary will be that of a senior scholar.
