- A more satisfactory solution, in my opinion, would be to provide
the faculty association with enough paid,full-time staff to
effectively carry out the instructions of the executive as directed
by the membership.

- This would allow the association to get on with the task of
effectively representing me. The task is too great for full-time
facutly to perform on a part-time basis. The task is too important
to be done on a part-time basis.

- Whether we need the "clout" of certification depends on the
cooperation we receive from the administration and the College
Council.

- At present I favor certification and strongly oppose any affili-

ation or alignment with an outside association or trade union.
