Academic Advisors in Student Services

 

Orientation for Senior Secondary Students

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 29-31, the academic
advisors will be offering an orientation to Douglas College
programs and services for senior secondary students. This
three day orientation, which will occur during the Spring
break, will provide an opportunity for prospective students
to find out about programs and services available at Douglas
College.

The academic advisors will be offering Group Advising sessions
in the following areas:

1. University Transfer Programs

- First-year Arts (including Social Work)

- First-year Science (including pre-entry requirements)

- Education - Simon Fraser University

- University of British Columbia
(Elem. and Sec.) B.Ed.
Physical Education - University of British Columbia
- University of Victoria

Music Programs - and Basic Musicianship

- Psychiatric Nursing

3. Social Services
- Therapeutic Recreation Technician

4. Business Management Career Programs
- Accounting Management
- Administrative Management
- Computer Information Systems
- Construction Management
- General Business
- Marketing Management
