The "Other Press" will be running an opinion column called "900 words"

to be written by students, faculty and employees of Douglas College.

f All opinions should be 900 words or less and typed at a 60 stroke line

| and double-spaced. Opinions should be signed and opinions longer than

i 900 words will be edited to fit layout space. Deadline for submissions
is Tuesday 4 p.m.

Those with opinions can send them to the "Other Press" on the New
Westminster campus or phone 525-3830.

BOOKSTORE HOURS

: .The New Westminster and Richmond Bookstores will be closed from Friday,
December 21, 1979 to Friday, January 4, 1980 inclusively. They will
re-open for business as usual on Monday, January 7, 1980. The Surrey

; bookstore will remain open throughout this time period. Any supplies
you may need can be obtained from Surrey.

: D.C. ON CABLE 10

A 11/2 hour college production will be aired on Western Cable 10,

Surrey, December 14 at 7:30 p.m. The title is "Douglas College

i Presents" and the show features Reg Pridham and Shelley Somerville.
Show host is Dian Voth. The program relates to the many facets of

Douglas College.
