Bruce Livingstone of the Public Informa- tion Office is leaving the halls of bachelorhood. Bruce has become engaged to Rhonda Emmerich, whose mom, Diane, works in Psych Nursing. Rhonda has also worked as an auxiliary with the PIO in the past. The couple plans to ex- change vows in summer of 1993. Bruce reminds everyone "that all large gifts of cash will be graciously accepted." Making moves... Theatre Technician Borja Brown has staged a major move as she exited Douglas College in June to work for Dancemakers in Toronto. Stay alert... Site Services Manager Pat Thomasson advises employees and students who use the campus underground parking lot to keep car doors locked and report any suspicious activity to the Security booth on the concourse. Seven vehicles in the College area were struck by thieves on June 10. Mulling multimedia... Computer Information Systems instructor John Blackwell was one of the featured presenters June 10 at the Academic Computing Conference in San Diego. Blackwell gave a presentation on Imple- menting Multimedia at the North Ameri- can conference for experts in computers, health sciences and liberal arts. Reel adventures... Tom Childs, of the library’s Audio-Video section, graced the latest Boat Journal in a picture hefting a 60-pound fish. Tom caught the substanial sturgeon while fishing with a friend near Annacis Island. Reported Tom: "I pulled a shoulder muscle lifting this guy." Two days later they hauled in a 100-plus pounder "which was at least six feet long", but decided to throw the big one back. Read all about us...
