I understand that preliminary discussions have been held with performing arts organizations in the lower mainland that will see our theatre being used even more intensively as a community centre. D. Internal Matters - Personnel On December 7, I met with the administrative group of the College, in order to discuss matters relating to their working conditions agreement. Es Internal Matters - General Marjory Ralston, Chairman of the Review Committee of our Governance System reports to me that work is progressing well, with the assistance of Mr. Walter Hogg. On November 16, the College was host to the Learning Specialist Association of British Columbia. On November 19, I was invited to speak to the Student Senate regard- ing College planning and current budget situation. On November 29, a celebration was held at the Maple Ridge Centre, in recognition of the publication of a small book of poems by Mr. Robert Storey - a Douglas College student already well known to the Board. The preamble to his book of poetry makes mention of his respect and admiration for the Douglas College Faculty with whom he has worked, and his regard for Douglas College and the part it has played in his life.
