Mad Hatter Page 2 FALL 1984 REGISTRATION Information and Procedures for Chairmen, Directors and Instructors DATE: Monday, August 27; Tuesday, August 28; and Wednesday, August 29. TIME: 0800 - 2000 Hours LOCATION: 3rd Floor - North Building The three-day registration process will be basically the same as the Spring 1984 registration with the exception of the Data Entry Station. The student's courses will be entered directly into the terminal (on- line) before they pay their fees. (The data entry will not be a back- room operation.) In case of computer difficulties, it is advisable to keep your blue cards as a temporary class list. Registration Procedures 1. A supply of blue cards and card boxes must be picked-up from the Office of the Registrar by each department. 2. It is the responsibility of each Department Station to ensure that all students are aware of any changes made to the Class Schedule. This includes notification of any room changes. 3. Permission to register in a course is granted by an instructor signing and stamping the Registration form in the appropriate space. It is important to ensure the student has satisfied any course prerequisites before "signing off" the Registration form. 4. For prerequisite verification, each Department Station should have available a list of grades for the Spring 1984 Semester. 5. During the three-day registration process, students may NOT change drop/add any course(s) they have selected, once they have payed fees. Course-change period begins September 4 at 10:00 hours in the Office of the Registrar.
