Connie has changed her name from Thompson back to Bolton, and Coquitlam to enter the ninth annual Nature’s Havens Challenge. The IUE wishes to inspire local residents to aid the urban environment by creating rich habitat in their own backyards. Dave Munro of the Sports Institute is bringing Josh Pastner, University of Arizona Wildcats coach and player to the New Westminster Campus June 24 and 25 to coach the coaches. Pastner has been with the Wildcats as a player and coach for the past nine seasons. As a player he won two PAC-10 Championships and was a member of the 1997 NCAA Championship team. He has played with, and coached, NBA players such as Mike Bibby, Jason Terry, Gilbert Arenas and Richard Jefferson. Basketball Times recently rated Pastner as the number-six ranked Assistant Coach in the entire US.
