From Physical Plant Heating/Ventilating/Air Conditioning Systems: We are continuing to have isolated prob- lems with the above systems due to certain mechanical deficiencies. Our revised soft- ware is being introduced to the moni toring/ control computer. It is anticipated that within the next few days the majority of the computer induced problems will be be- hind us and it is expected that most areas will be comfortable and cool through the summer months. It would be appreciated, particularly through the summer months when we are at- tempting to cool the building that all | doors to the exterior be kept closed. This includes doors to the decks off Curriculum Field Bases and other areas. It also in- cludes the loading dock, entrance doors to -the shop, and the corridor doors to the IMS area on the third floor. Leaving these doors open in the warm weather, simply in- creases the heating load in the building and apart from making the cooling systems work harder, at greater expense, it raises the temperature of the interior space in the immediate vicinity of the open door. Shades or blackout blinds have now been provided to 95% of the windows which ultim- ately will require them. It is important to anticipate the sun's location and to en- sure that these shades are pulled during the
