LECTURE SERIES

A series of lectures open to students, staff and faculty will be
held on the Surrey Campus. The first lecture, will be held Monday,
November 19, at 4:15 pm in room S701. "Western Capitalism and Inflation"
or "Is Capitalism doomed by double digit inflation?" Lecturer: John Reed,
History Discipline. Sponsored by - The Surrey Campus Advisory Council.

TELEPHONE SERVICE - NEW WESTMINSTER

Effective Nov. 8, after 1930 hrs. (7:30 pm), when the N.W. Switch-
board closes, a recorded message announces that the general campus offices
are closed. Arrangements have been made to allow callers to leave
messages on the recorder. These messages will be transcribed and forward-
ed upon the clerk's return.

The Library will no longer answer late evening general enquiries
A night line into the library will be provided to facilitate inter-
library communication. Those concerned will be provided with this number
upon completion of the installation.
