RESEARCH GRANTS

The Educational Research Institute of B. C. (E.R.I.B.C.) announces
Discretionary Grants for projects related to post-secondary education
to a maximum of $750. Guidelines for Discretionary Grants and appli-
cation forms are available in my office to anyone interested. App-
lications, once completed, should be returned to my office. Appli-
cations are accepted at the Institute until the 2lst of each month
for that month's adjudication process.

JOINT JOB EVALUATION FORM

A "Request for Evaluation" form has been printed and is now avail-
able from Supervisors, Shop Stewards and the Personnel Department.
As will be noted, there are certain “balances and checks" built
into the form which, if processed properly and in order, may take
considerable time to complete. Next meeting of the Joint Job
Evaluation Committee will take place December 6,..1973.

EXCESS AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE
Please disregard my memo in the October 29 issue of the Mad Hatter.
At the present time it appears that this insurance is available to
schools only. This matter will be further investigated.
