awards are based on scholastic achievement
and others on financial need; - a lotal of
220 sludents will receive in excess of
$72,000. There will also be some internal
presentations made.

The ceremony itself is from 7:30 pm through
8:30 pm, followed by a brief reception in
the Theatre Lobby. Please confirm your

e e e Douglas College has a twin in
Japan. Momoyama University in
Osaka and Douglas College be-
came sisters in 1986. A student
exchange began in 1982, and now
up sito. 50° “studentss trom
Momoyama come to Douglas Col-
lege in the spring and summer
terms, as well as up to 10 full-time
students during the fall and winter
semesters. Also, two Douglas Col-
lege faculty have taught at
Momoyama, while one of their
professors spent seven months
working in the English as a Second
Language Department here. @

As employees reach each incentive level, they will hand in their log
cards to receive their incentive, and will receive a new card to record ad-
ditional miles.

5386) to collect your log card or if you have any questions.

Announcement

Effective March 13, 1991 Carole Nelson of the Systems and Comput-
ing Department will be working for Personnel on a half-time second-
ment for two months, to provide assistance in the development of a
comprehensive Human Pesource Development Annual Plan for 1991/92.
Carole has been active on the Training Committee for approximately
three years and has been responsible for the development and delivery
of all WordPerfect training.

Carole’s energy and expertise will be a welcome addition to the Per-
sonnel Department. Please join us in congratulating Carole on her tem-
porary secondment! ©
